   Exporting Your Certificate - Netscape 7.x

1. Select "Edit" - "Preferences...".

2. Select the "Privacy & Security" in the navigation tree, and then click "Certificates". Click the "Manage Certificates" button.

3. Select the certificates you would like to export and then click the "Backup" button.

4. Select "Desktop" as the location to save the file in the "Save in" field. Type in the file name and ensure "PKCS12 Files" is selected in the "Save as type" field.

5. Type in your certificates password.

6. Type in a password to protect the PKCS file. (The higher the quality meter the more secure the password is.) Click "OK".

The screen below will appear on completion of a successful certificate export.

7. Click "OK".

8. Save the file to removable media (i.e. floppy disk, zip disk, CD) and store the removable media in a secure location.
